Service
Star espresso machines are extremely reliable and much pride is taken in achieving exemplary manufacturing standards. It is our policy not to see service maintenance as a source of revenue, but literally that - a service.
In the unlikely event that your Star machine manifests a problem, or you perhaps just wish for a routine service of wearing parts - there are three ways in which we try to make it as simple and cost effective as possible:
1. Preliminary troubleshooting
Many issues are readily identifiable and often solvable without the need for an engineer to pester you. Star espresso machines also have the added advantage of a detailed self-diagnostics system, which will display warnings when the machine doesn’t seem to be behaving as it should. Contained within your user manual is a detailed troubleshooting guide which, combined with knowledgeable staff only a phone call away, can ensure a quick and cost effective resolution to the vast majority of issues.
2. National engineer network
Star espresso machines has a vast network of fully vetted, experienced commercial espresso machine engineers around the UK. All authentic factory parts are available to them at all times to ensure any services restore your machine to original factory condition.
3. Serviceable design
When an espresso machine is serviced, a huge portion of the cost is the time taken to complete the service. Star espresso machines design team has within it a huge amount of hands on experience of maintaining commercial espresso machines. This has resulted in a machine which doesn't concentrate on cutting costs when putting it together - only when taking it apart. Here are just a few examples:
- Removing steel side panels - No screws, just pull
- Access to group solenoid valves - One screw
- Remove entire top panel/cup rail - Two screws
- Drain entire boiler - No screws, direct tap to drain
