Owning a Star Espresso Machine
The differences between the design and features of espresso machines can be difficult to appreciate. The following is a timeline highlighting the day-to-day benefits of being a Star espresso machine owner.
- It's Monday morning and the doors open to customers in 15 minutes. You switch on the machine and due to it's large heating element, the machine reaches full pressure and temperature extremely quickly.
- Having spent all of Friday afternoon flyering loyalty cards to local offices, you're expecting a busy morning. Sure enough, the first order is an office order for 2 cappuccinos and 2 americanos to take out. Your Star machines high drop allows you to put two cups straight under both groups, while the large group-heads and pre-infusion ensure a smooth, hazelnut espresso to tempt the new customers back.
- The automatic dosing allows you to leave the coffees to extract while frothing the milk.
- Once the first two coffees are ready, you top them up with hot water from the large boiler leaving plenty of hot water and steam for following orders.
- It's the busiest days trading since you can remember. A quick look at the Star espresso machines cup count shows that you've sold an additional 55 hot drinks in comparison to the last few Mondays. The loyalty cards were obviously a good idea!
- Pleased with the days performance you indulge in your one perk - a decent cup of coffee. Although you really can't be bothered, you think your espresso machine deserves a clean after today's performance - it only takes two tics. You drop the blank filter in to a double filter holder and leave the automatic cleaning cycle to do the rest so you can get back to the cup of coffee...
