Bar
Trendy bars often supplement their evening trade with food and soft drinks during the day. For modern bars, traditional espresso machines are a must in order to offer a full menu. Bars also account for some of the most expensive fitting and refurbishment projects in the business, and an espresso machine is often used as a design focal point on either the front or back of the bar. The following points (much like those of a restaurants) are often essential to an espresso machine in a bar environment:

- Modern design, with purpose and presence. Bars are often refurbished to the tune of hundreds of thousands of pounds. An espresso machine often takes up residence in a prominent position and shouldn't need to be hidden in the corner. A well designed espresso machine shouldn't look out of place with modern decor, whilst exuding quality
- Simple operation. The espresso machine is generally used by everyone and staff turnover can be high
- Self-sufficiency. Unlike small coffee shops, the espresso machine is further down the list of priorities. Often, no individual is really in charge of its well-being, and it sometimes needs to look after itself
How have we designed the Star espresso machine to meet these challenges?
- Many espresso machines are designed abroad for a different market. Star espresso machines were meticulously designed by award-winning London designers. The contemporary design will fit in to any decor with an understated black or stunning chrome finish, while custom colours can easily be accommodated. Intense blue LED's, matching LED instruments and a clean, muscular design make for a machine with immense presence - either in front of or behind the bar.
- Every machine has been ergonomically designed with automatic dosing as standard. An automatic cleaning cycle ensures that even the busiest (or lazy!) of staff will correctly clean the machine.
- The machine has several levels of protection and self-diagnostics, both electronic and inherently incorporated within the design. You don't have to put a glass to the side panel; clear warnings are given in plain English on the LCD display to alert you to any problems. Please look here for self-diagnostics details.
