Mobile Units
Espresso based coffee drinks are demanded wherever we go. Petrol stations, shopping centres, markets, carnivals, bonfire night... The problem is that many of these places don't have either water or electricity supplies. Generators and external pumps can be used, however, to provide these services - allowing you to produce Star quality cappuccinos and lattes wherever you wish.
Their universal design means that they are perfectly able to cope with the specific requirements of a mobile unit:
- Large boiler. Having to have a separate boiler is hugely inefficient and costly on a mobile unit. The large Star boilers and powerful elements provide plenty of hot water for all hot drinks
- High-drop. Given that all drinks will be served in tall take-away cups, it is essential to have a high-drop and prevent the need for transferring shots of espresso
- Quick drainage. An external boiler tap and lower-level water probe means that machines left overnight in the cold can be quickly and safely drained, then automatically filled the following day - preventing freeze damage and element burn-outs
- Compact design. Anyone who has worked with a mobile unit will agree that space isn't customary! The ability to pack such a punch in a confined space is a huge advantage
- Fully-automatic. Efficiency is key when operating a mobile unit and all Star machines come with automatic dosing as standard, freeing you to froth milk, receive payment and take more orders.
